N B A 20 Tournament Guide: Three For All Showdown2020-04-07 00:00:00
The start of the 2020 NBA League season was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak but there's another NBA 20 competition going on. The League will host a new tournament called NBA L Three For All Showdown. As you can probably guess from the title, this is a 3 versus 3 competition.
Who are the participants? Fans, players, content creators, and social media people.
The tournament will take place within MyPark game mode. The total prize pool counts $25,000. The winners also get the chance to match skills against players from the League.
There are two stages of this event: The first stage features 32 teams. Each team is made up of members of the community. There are no professional players here. The games are played on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. There will be different brackets for each platform.
The second stage follows a few days later. The participants are NBA League players, female players, the best teams from the first stage, and social media people. Just like in the previous stage, there will be different brackets for each platform. The games are played in best out of three rounds. The finals will be best out of five games. The games are streamed on Twitch and YouTube. The tournament has a $25,000 prize pool.
It is divided as follows: Winners from the first stage get $500 each. A share of $15,000 will go to the teams that make it to the second stage and are not part of the League. The first teams that make it as far as possible get $2,500 and $5,000. The teams that are part of the League get $9,000 from the prize pool. The two furthest advancing teams get $3,500 and $1,000.
The Three For All Showdown is the League's first event of this type. It was created in an effort to bring some joy and excitement in the lives of the NBA 20 players in these times of trouble. It's also a great incentive to stay indoors.
What's better than watching your favorite YouTuber playing against professional players? Maybe they'll even match up against people they have criticized. That should be fun to watch. Staying indoors doesn't mean that we cannot interact with other people. Thanks to the internet we can connect and have fun even without being in the same place. That's how we keep ourselves and others safe.
