NBA 2K22 Season 2 Release Date

As Season 1 of the NBA 2K22 campaign draws to a close, it's time to start turning our attention to the release of Season 2. Season 1: Call to Ball will end this Friday (October 22), but there's no time to mourn the failure, as Season 2 will immediately take center stage. As usual, the season will run for six weeks until Friday, December 3 Get the XP you need to collect all the rewards for Season 2. We have not yet confirmed the Season 2 rewards, though we look forward to seeing MyCareer, Neighborhood and The City features. At the time of writing, 2K has not yet announced when the new season will begin, but we suspect we'll learn more later this week.

NBA 2K22 Season 2 Rumors and Leaks

Call to Ball has been a huge success among the NBA 2K faithful, so we're expecting another top-notch release from 2KSports. We haven't officially confirmed what the Season 2 title will be, but as always, rumors are swirling. The title for Season 2 of NBA 2K21 is: "NEXT IS NOW", but that has more to do with the release of the next generation of consoles, so it's unlikely we'll see 2KSports follow that path for years to come.

In terms of top tier 40 rewards, many people would like to see some form of mascot skin arrive. They were previously only available for purchase, but with the launch of 2K a few months from now, we'll likely see the devs decide to start handing them out to those who play the game. But if we're being realistic, we're more likely to see some form of hoverboard or something similar appear at the end of the Season 2 rewards list, and there are rumors that we'll see mascot skins appear as part of the Season 3 rewards, but that's yet to be confirmed.

No doubt we'll see a new promotion or two make its way to the MyTEAM servers, with a spooky set of Halloween-themed cards likely to be on the schedule. Expect to see pack-based rewards for these cards appearing in the Season 2 rewards list.
